“Brooklyn’s prayers are with all those impacted by the deadly explosion at 4206 13th Avenue in Borough Park, especially the families and friends of those killed or injured. I thank the FDNY for their hard work in responding to this dangerous event and their efforts to keep our neighbors out of harm’s way. I look forward to a full investigation by the City to determine the cause of this tragedy and identify any relevant measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.”
