“In our darkest times, we look to our beloved faith leaders for comfort and spiritual guidance to help us weather the storm, which is why it is all the more painful to have to say goodbye to the Reverend Isaac Graham, pastor for more than 40 years of Macedonia Baptist Church in Harlem, who we tragically lost this week to complications from the coronavirus. The magnitude of this painful loss cannot be overstated, as we remember a bighearted man who mentored other ministers and whose food pantry served the hungry of the community. My thoughts and prayers go out to Reverend Graham’s wife of 45 years, Cheryl, and to New York City’s entire community of faith. Let us honor his memory by tightening our resolve to serve others with unyielding faith and resilience.”
