BROOKLYN, NY, May 4, 2016: Today, Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams announced the Dine In Brooklyn Logo Contest, offering graphic artists an opportunity to submit a logo to represent the 13th annual restaurant week celebrating the borough’s renowned eateries. Developed in partnership with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Dine In Brooklyn allows local restaurants to showcase their cuisines to Brooklyn residents and visitors from Thursday, August 11th to Monday, August 22nd. The winning logo will be used to represent Dine In Brooklyn in marketing and advertising materials.
“The restaurants of Brooklyn have become the envy of diners and food critics, with our innovative chefs reimagining classic dishes and featuring delicious, locally-sourced products that support our economy,” said Borough President Adams. “The event showcasing Brooklyn cuisine, Dine In Brooklyn, deserves a logo as creative as the food on our tables. The winning logo will represent the extraordinary diversity of cultures that have contributed to the most celebrated culinary destination in the world.”
“Brooklyn is as creative as any place on the planet, so this contest is the perfect way to tap into the immense talent of our graphic designers and find a logo that truly represents the originality of our food scene,” Carlo A. Scissura, president and chief executive officer of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. “I commend Borough President Adams for re-energizing and rebranding Dine In Brooklyn, and I expect every Brooklynite to come out and support our amazing restaurants this summer.”
Please submit an entry by Monday, May 16th, in order to become eligible for a prize and the opportunity to be associated with this event. For more information, please visit brooklyn-usa.org/dine-in-brooklyn-logo-contest/
