The Chief Program Officer is responsible for programming that raises awareness around free services and opportunities that improve the quality of life for the residents of one of the world’s most diverse boroughs, Brooklyn.
The programs created under this department are an investment in the 2.6 million inhabitants of Brooklyn. Its portfolio includes awareness programming that celebrates cultural diversity, borough-wide financial educational, youth initiatives, Borough Halls’ Community Assistance Center, Intergovernmental Affairs Office, and the Faith-Based and Clergy Initiative Office.
The staff of the programming department work in partnership with city, state, and federal agencies, non-profit organizations, corporations, and the community at large, to carry out the mission of Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams: a strong, healthy One Brooklyn where families and businesses have a safe place to grow and flourish.
