BP MARKOWITZ TO OBSERVE BLACK HISTORY MONTH WITH CELEBRATION AT BOROUGH HALL

On Thursday, February 24, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Deputy Borough President Yvonne Graham will observe Black History Month with a reception and celebration at Borough Hall.

Honorees are Teri Coaxum, regional advocate for NY, NJ, PR & USVI, U.S. Small Business Administration; Kevin Jeffrey, Brooklyn Borough Commissioner of Parks and Recreation; and Jack and Jill of America, Brooklyn Chapter (Antoinette Brown, president).
