On Thursday, June 3, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Antoine Azzam, the Consul General of Lebanon in New York, hosted a Lebanese Heritage celebration at Borough Hall. This year’s honorees included Reem Acra; Michael J. Kassouf, M.D.; Hamid Y. Mouallem, M.D.; Sylviane Zehil; and the Very Reverend John Khoury of Assyrian Orthodox Church of Virgin Mary. |
