On Thursday, May 21, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Consul General of Turkey Mehmet Samsar hosted an evening of food, wine and entertainment of Turkey at Borough Hall’s annual Turkish American cultural heritage event.

Brooklyn, home to many Turkish Americans, proudly carries the title of “Turkish Capital of America.”
