BP MARKOWITZ, FORT GREENE’S 67 BURGER, RACHEL RAY FIRE UP THE GRILL FOR BURGER BASH AT 2008 FOOD NETWORK NEW YORK CITY WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL

7:00 P.M.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10
TOBACCO WAREHOUSE
EMPIRE-FULTON FERRY STATE PARK
DUMBO

On Friday, October 10, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will join 67 Burger of Fort Greene—Brooklyn’s official burger representative—and Rachel Ray for the Burger Bash at the 2008 Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine and Travel+Leisure Magazines. Those attending the event at the Tobacco Warehouse at Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park will sample and vote for the juiciest, most delectable burger in New York City.

“Brooklyn is proud to welcome the foodies, chowhounds, and burger buffs to the burger capital of New York City,” says BP Markowitz. “It’s ‘rare’ to find a place with a heartier appetite than Brooklyn. To Lee Schrager and the ‘sizzling’ Food Network, we say ‘well done!’”
