On Thursday, November 20, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz joined Mayor Bloomberg and other dignitaries for the grand opening of Brooklyn’s first-ever Morton’s The Steakhouse on Adams Street in Downtown Brooklyn.
“I’ve always said that Brooklyn is ‘in the house.’ Thanks to Morton’s, we’re also in the ‘porterhouse’—as well as the sirloin, the filet mignon, and every other succulent cut that Morton’s serves. With the arrival of Morton’s, Brooklyn’s culinary carnivores have yet another choice on the menu, and I say ‘bravo!’ to this global company for having a ‘steak’ in Brooklyn’s economic—and gastronomic—future.”
