On Wednesday, May 21, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Consul General of Turkey Mehmet Samsar hosted an evening of food, wine and entertainment of Turkey at Borough Hall’s fourth annual Turkish-American cultural heritage event. The Consul General said Brooklyn proudly carried the title of “Turkish Capital of America” and he invited all Turkish-Americans to participate in the Turkish Day Parade to be held in Manhattan on May 24th. |
