BP MARKOWITZ CELEBRATES TURKISH CULTURE WITH CONSUL GENERAL OF TURKEY AT BOROUGH HALL FESTIVITIES

In photo: Celebrating Turkish heritage at Brooklyn Borough Hall

 

On Wednesday, May 21, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Consul General of Turkey Mehmet Samsar hosted an evening of food, wine and entertainment of Turkey at Borough Hall’s fourth annual Turkish-American cultural heritage event.

The Consul General said Brooklyn proudly carried the title of “Turkish Capital of America” and he invited all Turkish-Americans to participate in the Turkish Day Parade to be held in Manhattan on May 24th.
