On Wednesday, March 12, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz held a press conference at Brooklyn Borough Hall to officially launch the fifth annual “Dine in Brooklyn” event to be held March 24-31.

“Foodies” can get a taste of some of the best Brooklyn has to offer with three-course prix-fixe menus for just $23 at nearly 200 participating restaurants.

“Whether you fancy French fare or a little sushi, want to bib-up for some barbeque or give your eye teeth for Italian, or you’re simply aiming for comfort food American style—in Brooklyn, you’re table is waiting!” said Borough President Markowitz.

Dine in Brooklyn is an initiative of the Brooklyn Borough President’s Office and Best of Brooklyn, Inc. Generous sponsors include American Express, Brooklyn Brewery, Commerce Bank, Coca-Cola, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, the Brooklyn Restaurant Association, E & J Gallo Winery, William Grant & Sons, USA, Rémy USA, Time Out New York and New York City College of Technology (City Tech).
