BP MARKOWITZ HONORS HUNDREDS OF STUDENTS WITH BEST OF BROOKLYN AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT

On Wednesday, June 4, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz recognized Brooklyn students with the annual Best of Brooklyn award. The award honors elementary, middle and high school students, groups or teams that have attained recognition in Brooklyn, New York City, New York State or nationally. Areas of achievement include robotics teams, girl’s track, debate teams, soccer teams, National Merit Scholars, musicians, writers, artists, dancers and scholar athletes.

BP Markowitz honored 600 students this year, and many were on hand at Borough Hall to receive their awards.
