On Monday, December 31, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz rang in the New Year with fireworks at midnight, live entertainment, and friends at Grand Army Plaza at Prospect Park. The 26th annual edition of the fireworks display was once again enhanced by the spectacular public-lighting project “Prospect Park in Lights.” The free New Year’s Eve festivities were hosted by Borough President Markowitz and featured live music, including a James Brown impersonator, food and refreshments. |
