BP MARKOWITZ TO USHER IN CHANUKAH WITH THE LIGHTING OF BROOKLYN MENORAH AT BOROUGH HALL

On Tuesday, December 4, in observance of Chanukah, the Jewish festival of lights, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will light Brooklyn’s official menorah in Borough Hall Plaza.

The ceremony will be led by Rabbi Aaron L. Raskin, and musical performances by the Tmimim Boys Choir and Shir Chadash: The Brooklyn Jewish Community Chorus will entertain the crowd. Holiday food and refreshments will also be provided, including Chanukah gelt, latkes and other holiday treats.
