SEASIDE CONCERT SERIES KICKS OFF IN CONEY ISLAND Brooklyn concert tradition includes a variety of stars appealing to all music lovers! If you love music, you’re in luck, because Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz is once again hosting world class musical talent right here in Brooklyn. The 27th Annual Seaside Summer Concert Series will celebrate the summer in style with an unprecedented lineup starting on July 14 with the incredible Liza Minelli. From Rock and Latin, to Oldies and Motown, Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. at Asser Levy Park is the place to hear tremendous music by the seashore. All concerts are free. The 27th Annual Seaside Summer Concert Series rocks on every Thursday night through August 18 at Asser Levy Park at West 5th Street and Surf Avenue in Brighton Beach, opposite the New York Aquarium. The public can bring their own chairs, rent chairs for $5 in a special designated area ($10 for special shows). Performers are subject to change without notice.
