Brooklyn’s
Fire Department Deputy Chiefs, Battalion Chiefs
and Company Commanders Honored at Borough Hall
On
Tuesday, October 19, Borough President Marty Markowitz
hosted a breakfast reception to show his appreciation for the
Deputy Chiefs, Battalion Chiefs and Company Commanders of the
fire department in Brooklyn.
“It
is my pleasure to welcome the leadership of Brooklyn’s
bravest to Borough Hall. I thank you for the hard work that
you and your fellow firefighters do each and every day,”
said Borough President Markowitz. “You strive to ensure
that Brooklynites are safe and secure in their homes and businesses
and when called upon, you put your own lives at risk to save
others. And for that you are owed our deepest thanks and respect.”

of Con Edison, and Assistant Chief Edward S. Kilduff, Brooklyn
Borough Commander for the FDNY, both spoke at the event. The
breakfast was sponsored by Con Edison.
