Gift Shop Located on the Ground Floor of Brooklyn Borough Hall

Come to the gift shop at the Brooklyn Tourism and Visitors Center to find the perfect holiday gift to express your Brooklyn pride. The Brooklyn Tourism & Visitors Center offers authentic Brooklyn apparel and gifts for the entire family with most items under $20. Items include Brooklyn t-shirts & hoodies for adults and toddlers, “Brooklyn Proud” hats, mugs, postcards, teddy bears, “Spirit of Brooklyn” posters, guide books and 2005 calendars created by Brooklyn photographers.

“It’s hard to find the perfect holiday gift, but the Brooklyn Tourism and Visitor Center is making the job a little bit easier for all of us who love Brooklyn,” said Borough President Markowitz. “This new gift shop has something for every Brooklynite, honorary Brooklynite or anyone with a Brooklyn state of mind. How sweet it is that you can show your Brooklyn spirit on your sleeve as well as in your heart.”

The Brooklyn Tourism and Visitors Center, a non-profit organization, is located inside Brooklyn Borough Hall at 209 Joralemon Street on the Ground Floor. Store hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The public can call 718-802-3846 for more information. All profits from the store support the non-profit Best of Brooklyn, Inc., which operates the tourism center and supports programs such as Camp Brooklyn, which sends disadvantaged Brooklyn children to summer camps.

The store will have extended hours until 8:00 p.m. on December 7 for the Hannukah Menorah lighting and on December 9 for the Christmas Tree lighting. Both of these public holiday ceremonies will begin at 5:30 p.m. on the plaza of Brooklyn Borough Hall.
