Borough President Marty Markowitz visited two Brooklyn senior centers, the Sephardic Senior Center and the Amico Senior Center, to help celebrate the Chinese Moon Festival. He also brought along some traditional Moon cakes for everyone to enjoy.

“The Moon Festival is a great Chinese tradition because it emphasizes family. And in Brooklyn, we are part of one big happy family,” Borough President Markowitz said. “The perfect place to watch a glorious moon is the most beautiful city in the world – Brooklyn!”
