Museum slated to open in the spring of 2004

On November 25th, Borough President Marty Markowitz joined the Jewish Children’s Museum staff and community members at a special breakfast and tour of the museum and community center due to open next spring. School educators, youth group representatives and cultural organizations from the Crown Heights community were in attendance.

Brooklyn Borough President Markowitz envisions the museum and community center as a place of cultural exchange in a state-of-the-art museum that will provide numerous resources for the community.
