BROOKLYN BOROUGH HALL

209 JORALEMON STREET

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will honor the success of the “Buy a Book for Brooklyn” campaign and meet some of the hundreds of donors who were inspired by a $100,000 Independence Community Foundation Challenge Grant. In a three-month borough-wide campaign, donors responded to the need caused by government budget cuts and bought more than 15,000 books for the Brooklyn Public Library.
