BOROUGH PRESIDENTS MEET AT BROOKLYN'S RIVER CAFE
Borough Presidents gather to set their priorities for 2004 Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz hosted a luncheon of New York City’s Borough Presidents at Brooklyn’s own River Café. Joining Borough President Markowitz were Queens Borough President Helen M. Marshall, Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion and Manhattan Borough President C. Virginia Fields. Staten Island Borough President James P. Molinaro was unable to be present because had to attend a funeral. The Borough Presidents meet periodically to discuss priorities and areas of mutual concern. In the spring Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion hosted the Borough Presidents at Portofino restaurant in the Bronx. Today, Borough President Markowitz showed them the best in ambience and fine cuisine typical of Brooklyn. |
