Heritage quivers at the fleshy string in the mind
So deep in the lore
the old memories that never were
How no one expects to remember
and how a possible photograph
could cheapen the feel
Missing the harsh daily winters
midnight hunts and a few wealthy stomachs
Not Welsh but whelp of two brands
venturing to the new and tainting the refused
Rape most profitable
On dreamt the lighter skinned
Confused of their orisons, origins
I’ve been here before
dreaming myself backwards
amongst idiots with grapping nooses
On live the terra tones that only remember with cameo sunburns
