Under a late salmon sky
That cool blue September breeze, though a delight
Shawls us in a sense of goodbye
Readying us for the last walk up
With pails of shells and glass
So as not to turn and cry
Cobalt
September shadow cast
Makes me long
Half in water
Half on shore
Searching for soft edged glass, blue
For the early days of June,
When I thought it would never end
Sweet blueberry cakes
With soft Vivaldi
Coffee, four wedges of blood orange garnish
At that old inn in Providence with Ann
As the season dances away,
To violins early
